Hopefully we've made these rules easier to understand, given an insight into both a Loremaster's and a Player's perspective on how they feel in the game, and answered the question: should social encounters be decided by role-play or dice?

These rules are an integral part of the experience of adventuring in Middle Earth and we hope to provide some guidance for Loremasters on how to run the game as well as our experiences as both Player and Loremaster on how these work (spoilers: they are great!) We also talk about adding rules into this port of 'vanilla' 5e and how successful it has been.
